I'm New
What is it like?

242 Church is a family of people seeking to worship the Lord with all our being. Our services are a mix of prayer, Scripture, and music, and we love seeing God move in our lives as we gather together.

What about my kids?

We have children’s ministries for Kindergarten through 5th grade that start after the worship-through-song portion of the service. For younger children, we offer a nursery that is available for the full service. All our volunteers are background-checked and love helping kids grow in faith.

Where do I park?

You can park right beside the building or directly across Monroe Street. There’s also a public parking lot at the corner of Hancock and Monroe Street. Accessible parking is available close to the main entrance.

What do I wear?

Come as you are! Modest clothing is all we ask—whether that’s sweats, jeans, or a suit, be comfortable and be yourself.

How long is the service?

Our services typically last about an hour and a half, but we stay open to the Lord speaking and moving in our midst.

What happens after the service?

Some people hang out and chat, some go grab lunch, and others take time to connect with our staff. There’s no pressure—just a chance to meet people and take your next step in community.

How can I get connected?

You can fill out a connection card at the church, email us directly, or reach out through social media. We’d love to help you find a place to grow, serve, and be part of our community.
